M93R Hammer jam…
Ok I have a KWA M93R and it worked fine for a month… or less and then the trigger stoped working (not always just some times) and I have narrowed it down to the hammer sometimes jams… idk how (thats why im asking) but when im shooting with out a mag the hammer will always work but then when I put a mag in the hammer some of the time wont drop when I pull the trigger. I can get the hammer to drop by pushing on it will just a little stick or somthing but nearly no force is required to get the gun to fire after the hammer jams (some time shaking the gun is enugh) I am using propain and silicon that came with the ASI propain addaptor. O and taking the mag out doesnt drop the hammer after a hammer jam.
Thx

Uhh I’m not sure I understand your question very well, but I’ll try my best to answer it. First, read this article about proper GBB lubing.

Alright. Now onto the actual question. It sounds to me that one of the springs in the trigger or hammer lost its tension and won’t complete the ‘upward’ pressure to fire the weapon. I would call your local airsoft store for help.

LikeDislikeThere might be something loose internally causing this to happen. I honestly have no idea :/

LikeDislikeWell, first thing’s first, I want to check it the gun works. I want you to:
1. Load your magazine with 5-7 bbs.
2. Turn your magazine upside down, and your propane upside down and fill it like that for 3 seconds.
3. Put the mag in your pistol and pull the slide back, then release. A bb is now in the chamber.
4. Find a safe spot to shoot, and see if the gun works.
If it doesn’t work, get back to me with the problems.

LikeDislikeYea that’s how I got here… The mag will shoot and seemingly randomly stop working and the hammer will just not drop…

LikeDislikeHow old is the gun? You can always contact KWA if it is within the 45 day warranty period.
Here is the Manual for your gun from KWA. http://www.kwausa.com/downloads/KWA%20M9_%20M9V_%20M9BR%20Manual.pdf
I use a TSD SD92 so I am familiar with the M9 gun style.
Does it jam when using the double action mode only? or does it jam during the single action mode as well?
I had one issue with one of mine where the bar that moves with the trigger on the right side of the gun would not fully reset in double action mode with no mag in it, but with a mag in the blowback auto-cocking of the hammer made it so it worked. I was able to fix the problem by taking off the slide and then removing the hand guard on that side and replacing the small spring in there.
Let me know if that helps otherwise I would be happy to help you troubleshoot it more.

LikeDislikeThe m93r is single action only and yea I have looked inside the handgrips but I don’t think that that’s the problem… I think it’s Hammer related

LikeDislikeContact KWA because they have a 45 day warranty on their guns, that is probably your best bet to get it fixed without having to troubleshoot it yourself.
If KWA is unable to do anything to help you, let me know and I will get a hold of my friends who know more about the guns than i do (they are the ones who taught me what i know).

LikeDislikeUse if I had the warntee I would have done that… I’ve used the warntee twice already but this time I just forgot abor the gun for a couple of months….

LikeDislikeFirst thing my friend told me to do is to lubricate up all the moving parts. If you haven’t cleaned and lubricated everything that is probably your problem.
If that doesnt fix it he said its probably a part issue and that KWA has amazing customer service, even outside of warranty periods, and they should be able to help you get it going again.
Hope that helps

LikeDislikei have the same problem with my m93r it only fires when i tilt it

LikeDislikeLube is one thing and cleaning is another completely different thing, have you disassembled it completely and cleaned each part?. if not, start there.
dirt can be really well oiled but it is still dirt and will cause problems.
but be sure you can reassemble it before you start or you could be in for problems.
